Achmad Kalla - Chairman

Currently the Chairman of Cantara Engineering, Mr. Achmad Kalla is the President Director of a publicly listed company PT Bukaka Teknik Utama. Mr. Kalla holds a Bachelor Degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Technology Bandung. Under his directorship, Bukaka grew from as little as 50 engineers in 1978 into up to 3,000 employees in 2007. The company has about US$ 80 million in yearly revenue. He is a pioneer in the development of hydropower energy project in Indonesia.

Achmad Fauzi Alaydrus - President Director

The President Director and CEO of PT Cantara Engineering International, Mr. Achmad Fauzi has over 16 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and over 10 years experience in structural steel industry. Mr. Fauzi holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the prestigious local University of Technology Bandung and MSCE Degree in Engineering and Construction Management from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Mr. Fauzi started his career as a structural engineer for Maxus Northeast Sumatra. He had progressed through the ranks as Senior Engineer, Project Engineer, and eventually Head of Engineering and Construction in 1996. During his rise in career at Maxus, he was assigned as the Project Engineer in charge of the design, fabrication, and erection of a giant offshore oil project in the North Java Sea area, producing 150,000 barrel/day of oil production at its peak. In 1997 Mr. Fauzi was appointed as the Deputy Director of Engineering Division at PT Bukaka Teknik Utama, a publicly listed engineering giant in Indonesia. He is the co-founder and currently the CEO of PT Cantara Engineering International.

Anand Dengle - Operation Manager

Mr. Anand Dengle holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering Degree from University of Pune, India, a post graduate degree in computer applications (Govt of India), and is a Lean Six Sigma Certified Professional.

Mr. Dengle has 10 years of experience in steel industry with roles ranging from Detailing Engineer, Quality Manager, and Senior Manager. He started his career as a detailing engineer & programmer with Magic Export (India), a knowledge process outsourcing unit of American pre-engineered building construction company, Alliance Steel Building Systems located in Oklahoma. He has been a key member of multiple building projects that include aircraft hangers, commercial complexes, stadiums, and industrial buildings. He was gradually elevated into the role of Detailing Manager responsible for entire detailing operations and successfully implemented ISO system.

At Tata BlueScope Steel, Ltd Mr. Dengle was a Detailing Manager and a Project Coordinator for South-East Asia operations. He was responsible for implementing technology of premium Butler Brand for Tata BlueScope Steel India Ltd. He was the key coordinator for transfer of Butler Building technology from Butler Shanghai to TataBlueScope Steel India Ltd. He was also responsible for handling detailing projects for JV for India.

Mr. Dengle was a key Personnel & CAD Manager at a leading Australian construction company IDEC in Brisbane QLD. Projects which he worked on were commercial and industrial buildings, mining structures for IDEC clienteles such as GHD, Lang A Rourke, John Holland, Abi group, Hutchinson Builders, Queensland Rails, Lady Anna Mines and many other mining and construction companies.

Halid Sahaming - General Manager

Mr. Halid Sahaming has over than 20 years of civil and structural engineering work experience under his belt. Having earned a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hassanudin and a Master degree in International Strategic Management from Prasetiya Mulia Business School, he began his career at Freeport-McMoran concentrating in heavy duty design, conveyor design, pipeline design, construction, and maintenance. He was recruited by an Indonesian engineering giant PT Bukaka Teknik Utama in 1990 to become Project Manager in charge of steel structure design of power plants. Mr. Sahaming joined the senior management team of Cantara Engineering in 2006 as General Manager, overseeing and optimizing its day-to-day operations.
