Cantara Engineering International started off as a Civil and Structural Engineering Division of PT Bukaka Teknik Utama (“Bukaka”). Bukaka was established in 1978 as an engineering services and manufacturing of infrastructure related product. The division spin-off after the company grew into a multi-million dollar company with thousands of employees.
HISTORY
1978: PT Bukaka Teknik Utama was established in Jakarta, Indonesia
2001: The Civil and Structural Engineering Division separated out from PT Bukaka Teknik Utama
2003: The Division grew and spun off to become PT Prima Metal Engineering. By this time, the company has started to serve clients globally from Australia, Taiwan, Czech Republic and United States
2009: The Company grew to more than 200 professionals. In April 2009, the company rebranded as Cantara Engineering International
Cantara Engineering International was established in 2009 to provide end –to-end , cost-effective solutions to the increasingly complex engineering needs of the construction and energy industries.
